HSM - 576 Ethics for Health Care Managers


This course is designed to help students better understand the ethical dimensions of health administration decision-making and use this understanding to effectively analyze decisions to support ethically sound judgments. Students will be able to identify the ethical content under fundamental conflicts and decisions faced by health care managers and analyze ethical problems of/ in business, including identifying stakeholders, defining ethical conflicts, proposing multiple courses of action as well as the possible costs and benefits of each. This course also includes coverage of the most current and salient health care ethics issues. Prerequisite: HSM 502 . Credit Hours: (2)
