PHA - 592 Elective II

Elective rotation II may include any medical or surgical practice area as approved by the Director of Clinical Education. This four-week rotation may provide a more in-depth study of one clinical practice area of interest to the student. Students are expected to provide patient care under the supervision of the preceptor. Learning experiences should include taking histories and performing physical exams, formulating a differential diagnosis, assessments, and treatment plans. Experiences may also include performing common procedures in the specific area of practice or going to the operating room (if applicable). Offered: Fall, Spring, & Summer.
