NSG - 625 Advanced Health Assessment for Advanced Practice Nursing Across the Lifespan

This course is designed to enhance the advanced practice nursing student’s knowledge of a history and physical examination and the diagnosis of physical findings of individuals across the lifespan. The course introduces the student to clinical problem solving through a series of lectures, case presentations, and class discussion. This course emphasizes the importance of the careful collection of data by history and physical examination and their systematic analysis. The content of the course is organized around the health assessment of specific body systems and provides a framework of critical thinking and development of differential diagnosis.
