PSY - 794 Adult Psychiatry

The objective of this course is to increase the student’s knowledge of various psychiatric disorders and to improve knowledge and skills in drug therapy, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Emphasis is placed on crisis management and brief therapy in inpatient settings. Prerequisite: PSY-701. Offered: Fall, Spring, & Summer.
