NSG - 572 Quality & Safety for the Aging Adult

This course prepares nurse leaders to create a culture of quality improvement and patient safety for the aging adult. Current models of quality & patient safety are evaluated in the context of national trends & healthcare priorities. The essential role of interprofessional teams as a mechanism to improve quality & patient safety is addressed. Prerequisite: NSG-523. Pre- or Corequisites: NSG-524 and NSG-600.
