DRM - 716 Dermatology

Dermatologic problems are studied under the direct supervision of the departmental faculty. Diseases are considered from the standpoint of etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, course, and treatment. Clinical and histopathologic correlations are emphasized. Skin therapeutics is taught stressing biochemical and physiological considerations. There is a written final examination based on assigned reading. Third year students may take this elective only in May/June of their M3 year. Elective Retake Counts for Credit: Yes.
